Hi kingy, Welcome to NBR Usually ram is accessed through a panel on the base of the laptop, i can't find a disassembly guide on your model so i can't be sure but i'd guess yours is the same. You need any brand of notebook memory, bestbuy is a popular site in the U.S for purchasing componants.
Find out what speed of memory your laptop supports then buy either a 1 x 512mb stick, a 1 x 1gb stick or a 2 x 1gb set to upgrade your laptop. For general use, assuming your running windows xp, 1gig of ram would be optimal. You shouldn't have to pay too much more than $30. Hope this helps, Willy.
Hi PCG71911M and welcome. Everything on the Sony website only uses the Vaio Model VPCEH3N6E folllowed by /W for white models and /B for black models. You will find nothing using the PCG number. This model was released with Windows 7 HP 64-bit and so most drivers are 64-bit only. Did you try recovering your Vaio back to factory settings by pressing the ASSIST button when the Vaio is turned off fully?
Buy Power4Laptops DC Adapter Laptop Car Charger For Sony Vaio. Sony Vaio PCG-7F1M, Sony Vaio PCG-7F7P, Sony Vaio PCG-7G1M, Sony Vaio PCG-.
Is there a particular reason why you want 32-bit? To see all the available drivers: - Click on Support (at the top of this screen) Click on Online Support Type your Vaio Model into the 'Get Started' box (VPCEH3N6E/B or VPCEH3N6E/W) Select the 'Downloads' Tab and you will find the Windows 7 Drivers under both the Preinstalled Drivers and the Latest Downloads Tabs. Not all preinstalled software can be downloaded.
